Safety First My Friends!

As you travel along Highway 199 looking for yard sales, please be careful.

Highway 199 is a main highway, so traffic rolls along quickly. If you see a yard sale and you can't stop, DO NOT whip a U-turn in the middle of the highway. Please select a safe place to turn around and go back.

Park in a safe location, lock your vehicle, don't leave kids/grandma/pets in a hot vehicle!

Parts of Highway 199 are winding and a bit narrow. The speed limit ranges between 45 and 55 mph outside of the towns. There are passing lanes, wait for a safe place to pass. Don't ever, ever put yourself, your family and other drivers at risk just because you're looking for a bargain.

The rest area is on the north side of the highway, so if you're heading toward Grants Pass from Crescent City, it will be a left turn and there is a turn lane. Please be super careful pulling out of the rest area, you're the only one with a stop sign!!

Please use good sense as you search for bargains -- SAFETY FIRST!
