So, my Mom had this great idea.
Highway 199 runs from California's Highway 101 to I-5 in Oregon. Why not start an Oregon's Longest Yard Sale on 199 on the same weekend as "It's the Berries" in Kerby, scheduled for August 17th, 2013?
This is pretty informal,totally voluntary and FREE -- we're thinking of a map with businesses and special events listed for that third weekend. There's a lot of traffic on Hwy 199 in the summer and you, our friends and neighbors, should be able to take advantage of both the traffic and the insatiable urge to find that perfect item for a decor, a collection, or a library.
This is the PR point, because honestly, it's easy and Blogger is free.
Shoot me an e-mail with suggestions and your business or yard sale, including locations and times. We'll get them posted and just see what happens.
